Time Impact Analysis (TIA) has long been a key methodology in forensic
schedule analysis, but its role has evolved over time. This presentation will explore its
original purpose, how its application has shifted, and whether it still holds value today. We
will also examine the rise of Contemporaneous Period Analysis (CPA) and its impact on forensic
scheduling. Join us for this exciting presentation on these changing methodologies and their
future in project scheduling, which will be followed by a Q&A session / discussion.

Mark Sanders is the Director of Projects at Alpha 3 Consulting, LLC and a
partner at the Wilmington, DE, office of QDR International. Mark has over 25 years of
experience in engineering, construction, and dispute resolution. He is a licensed Professional
Engineer in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and a member of the California
Bar. He holds certifications from AACE International as a Cost Professional, Planning and
Scheduling Professional, and Forensic Claims Consultant. He is a certified Project Management
Professional and Portfolio Management Professional. He currently serves as the Secretary of
AACE International.
